MoveOn.org is helping to start a new international analogue: www.avaaz.org. They're kicking it off with a petition to try to get the new U.S. congress to stop Bush from implementing his "new" policy of escalation. He'll call it a "surge", but it's an escalation.
MoveOn.org is arguably one of the best things to come out of the U.S. in quite a while; it's nice to see them expand.
In another attempt to make sure that the Democrats actually do what they were elected for, MoveOn.org is organizing a petition to get Congress to pass Nancy Pelosi's "100 Hours Agenda".
